Thank you, Chris

I'm Chris and I have 24 years of extensive experience in an NHS ambulance service and, more recently, a primary care setting. I bring a wealth of knowledge to every training session run and event covered.
I joined the ambulance service in 2002 as a trainee ambulance technician prior to completing my Paramedic at the University of the West of England (UWE) in 2010/11. I initially worked on the rapid response vehicle (RRV) unit at a city centre station before taking a mentoring role. I then progressed to the role of Operations Officer for a county sector which included being Operational Commander for large scale and multi agency incidents - whilst in this role I was also lucky enough to be on the ambulance service command team for the 2015 Glastonbury Festival.
In 2020 (mid COVID) I moved to work in a GP surgery where I took a role as an Urgent Care Practitioner (UCP) in a multidisciplinary team providing unscheduled, urgent and chronic care.
Outside of work I'm a Dad of two young adults who I'm immensely proud of. I love to adventure in the great outdoors, whether that's walking around the hills, kayaking the Cornish coast, climbing in the alps or generally exploring our world in my self converted van.
