£1250 for up to 12 learners at your location


First Aid at Work provides learners with the practical skills and confidence to respond effectively to a wide range of workplace emergencies. Designed to meet Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidance, this comprehensive course equips designated workplace first aiders with the knowledge needed to assess incidents, provide immediate care, and manage emergency situations until professional medical help arrives.


During the course, learners will cover topics including:

  • The roles and responsibilities of a workplace first aider
  • Assessing an emergency situation safely
  • Adult CPR and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
  • Managing an unresponsive casualty
  • Choking
  • Severe bleeding and shock
  • Burns and scalds
  • Fractures, sprains and soft tissue injuries
  • Head, spinal and chest injuries
  • Seizures, strokes, heart attacks and other medical emergencies
  • Minor injuries and incident reporting


On successful completion, participants will receive a nationally recognised First Aid at Work certificate, valid for three years.

Emergency First Aid at Work is a practical, typically one-day course designed to provide learners with the essential knowledge and skills needed to respond confidently to workplace emergencies. Ideal for low-risk working environments or those appointed as workplace emergency first aiders, this course meets Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidance and provides a nationally recognised qualification.


During the course, learners will cover topics including:

  • The role and responsibilities of an emergency first aider
  • Assessing an emergency situation safely
  • Adult CPR and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
  • Managing an unresponsive casualty
  • Choking
  • Severe bleeding and shock
  • Minor injuries, including cuts, grazes and burns
  • Incident reporting and the importance of recording accidents


On successful completion, participants will receive a nationally recognised Emergency First Aid at Work certificate, valid for three years.
